Music Catch
I’ve just been browsing around the internet and comes across this great little relaxing game. Don’t worry if you’re not a “hardcore” gamer, it really doesn’t take much skill. You simply move your cursor around the screen attempting to catch the shapes. Blue and green shapes give you points, yellow ones multiply your scoring, purple ones attract the shapes towards you and you want to avoid the red shapes as they slow down your scoring.
While you’re trying to catch the symbols a relaxing piece of music is playing. It lasts maybe five minutes and is a soothing way to unwind online.
Give it a try for yourself below and let me know your highest score. So far mine is 1025926.
It’s not all fun and games here at the Relaxation Haven office though. I’ve been working on a piece regarding the use of meditation for relaxation so keep your eyes peeled for that in the coming days.
Welcome to Relaxation Haven
Hello I’m Kurt Reso the owner and proprietor of Relaxation Haven, the most relaxing place on the internet. Here I hope to share with you my philosophy on life as well as tips, techniques and exercises that will help you achieve complete relaxation.
To me complete relaxation means feeling cool and calm no matter what the situation. This may sound nigh on impossible to you but believe me it can be done. All you need to do is look at me for proof of that. Some of the topics I intend to cover include hypnosis, meditation, deep breathing, music, diet and regular exercise. I find these areas to be vital to leading a relaxed life.
I will say here that not everything I write will work for you but the important thing is to experiment, find what works for you and incorporate it into your regular lifestyle. Don’t think that relaxation comes easily because it doesn’t. It takes the right attitude and correct discipline. You may feel extremely relaxed after using a certain breathing exercise, but if you never take the time to perform it again then it won’t do you any long-term good.
I don’t want to waffle or sound to strict so I will end the welcome here. I also want this post to have some positive benefits for you beyond a simple introduction so I have included below one of my favorite relaxation videos. This video will guide you through a self hypnosis technique that creates your very own mental garden of relaxation and unlike many videos on YouTube is performed by an actual clinical hypnotherapist Jon Rhodes.
Make sure you’re in a comfortable position in a room where you won’t be disturbed for ten minutes or so. Just sit back, press play, close your eyes and relax.
